About David "The Diamond" Oswald: 
David Oswald is considered to be one of the top experts in the nation on the subject of short sales. Due to the enormously high foreclosure rate right now, short sales has been a topic of great discussion over the past two years and Oswald has taken the opportunity to train many people throughout the country on how to help homeowners out of these tough situations. As a public speaker, he has put together one of the most informative and entertaining two day seminars available to entrepreneurs entitled, "Short That Sale When the Market's Stale."
In addition to being a full time real estate investor, Oswald also has licenses as a mortgage solicitor, life insurance producer and title insurance producer in the state of New Jersey. He began his career in real estate as a mortgage broker during the refinancing boom of 2001. It was also during that time in 2002 that he bought his first piece of property. “I loved the mortgage industry,” he says, “but I knew that there was something about real estate that attracted me for the long run.”
Oswald began to purchase rental properties, land lots, do short term loans for others and he experimented with some creative financing. Soon after, he started buying pre-foreclosure properties and focusing primarily on the wholesaling side of the business, working with as many as fifty to seventy properties at a time. He also began travelling throughout the country to increase his knowledge of real estate, taking boot camps on every subject matter including creative financing, lease options, land contracts, subject to financing, asset protection, property management, public speaking and began building his own seminar company, Rivers of Income LLC.
This brings up to now in 2008 where the 360 is just about complete. David is currently in the process of growing his wholesaling business and branding himself and his real estate companies on a national level through a busy seminar and speaking schedule. He now speaks on the topic of real estate and short sales in front of hundreds of people, does one on one mentoring for students, sells a core package of information regarding the foreclosure and short sale business and on top of that, he continues to run a very large pipeline of short sales for himself. "The Diamond" is speaking at as many as ten events per month and holds his all day seminar, "Short that Sale When the Market's Stale" six times per year.
On a personal note, David is a member of Evangel Church and considers his faith to be the most important aspect of his life. In addition, he enjoys long distance running, playing basketball and reading a few books per month.
