“There is nothing new under the sun…”
Do you remember when Coca-Cola released “New” Coke? It even had the word “New” as a banner across the front of the can. Well, if you do remember it, then you also know what the results of that attempt by Coke resulted in…a whole lot of people who preferred the original. Being the marketing geniuses that they are, Coca-Cola then simply brought back the old Coke and called it Classic Coke!
Ha, ha…I love it. But don’t be fooled. Just as there is an attempt to market things as “new” in the world of soft drinks, you will also see this kind of stuff happening in all kinds of areas. You’ll see furniture stores, car lots, internet marketers, gym owners, magazines and even…real estate educators using the same old techniques.
