Hi,
David here.
Here's a recent day in my life...
10:38 Awoke after 9 hours of sleep
10:52 I text my local virtual assistant (VA) to stop by and pick up dirty laundry and get me a cup of coffee
11:02 Take a quick look at my email and notice I had two sales of my ebook while I was sleeping last night
11:38 Local VA stops by again after dropping off laundry, getting me a cup of coffee from Dunkin Donuts and also dropping off some mail that was at the PO Box. I also have a light breakfast with oatmeal and a piece of fruit.
12:15 One of my real estate VA’s texts me just to give a status on a short sale and let me know about a property that he just marketed to about 30 sites online
12:18 I send an email to a different VA (my project coordinator VA who oversees the team) to inquire how he’s coming with a website project he’s working on
12:22 I handle 2 quick emails from a couple of students that I mentor in short sales
12:38 I write a new entry into the ‘Diamonds in the Rough’ Blog, pop it into my contact manager and have my social media VA put it on about 50 social media sites while using only one posting
12:45 Take a shower, my work day is rapidly coming to a close
1:22 Handle 4 texts with one of my local short sale negotiators about how to market a property in south Jersey
1:28 Drop a text to a guru friend in south Jersey who auctions properties and he responds back with some good news
1:33 Check my bank account online to confirm my property manager made a deposit
1:44 I drop a quick email to one of my overseas VA’s (India) to ask if he can jump on Craigslist to find me a golfing handcart for sale in New Jersey and to get me 3 options. I tell him that while he’s at it, I need him to hop onto ebay and do some research on a new online business I’m starting
2:21 Work day is over and I’m just arriving at the golf course for 18 holes. Didn’t take a single phone call (only some texting), sent a few emails, never left the house and made money. Kids don’t try this at home.
