You know, it's been too long since we talked about how to literally ‘create time’ in your life and business. I thought it might be time to have another conversation about it, and give you some more great ideas...

THE CHALLENGE...

I can still remember exactly what it was like before I learned some of the secrets of how to
do this at will. I have very clear memories of what is was like slaving away on a day to day basis and knowing that my future only held more of it. It was like that song where my future was so bright that I had to wear shades. No, not at all. My future was more hard work…

But WHY?

Why didn't I just say, “I need to do something a little different than I’m doing right now, I need to think just a little differently.”

The fact is that I was AFRAID.

I was afraid that I'd do the wrong thing and wind up putting myself into a bigger mess than before. But all of that was just a small man’s mentality. I knew I was bigger than that and capable of so much more. At the time, I just figured that my life had to end up similar to how most people live. I thought it would have to be a life of working 50 and 60 hour work weeks and coming home too tired to focus on my other business interests.

None of the people around me seemed to really relate to me when I would bring these topics up around them. They always looked at me strange when I talked about being an entrepreneur or creating time in my life so that I could pursue FREEDOM. My friends REALLY thought I was strange when I first started outsourcing. Way back in 2003, I first started using virtual assistants and my first experience was using VA’s in India. I would hop on Skype (back when it only had audio capabilities instead of video) and I would spend about 10 minutes every morning with one of my VA’s setting up my day and outlining what needed to be done. When I told my friends that I was on the phone with India, they looked at me like I had just gotten out of a 12 step program or something. In fact, I may have even lost a friend or two during time because our interests changed...
